Prepared. Connected. Community-Focused.
The Coffeyville Amateur Radio Club is proud to introduce our new Mobile Communication Trailer, a multi-purpose unit, designed to serve Southeast Kansas through emergency response, education, and public outreach.
Equipped with amateur radio gear, independent power systems, and versatile technology, this trailer allows us to:
Support Emergency Communications – Deployable during disasters to provide reliable backup communications in coordination with local emergency managers and public agencies.
Promote STEM Education – Used as a mobile classroom to introduce students and Scouts to the science and technology behind amateur radio, communications, and electromagnetic waves.
Engage the Community – Featured at events like Dalton Days & Neewollah to raise awareness about amateur radio and its role in disaster readiness and lifelong learning.
Thanks to grant funding from the ARRL Foundation and generous donations from our supporters, this trailer is helping us “Tune In, Reach Out, and Make a Difference” across Montgomery and Labette Counties.
